Amara Aguilar teaches multimedia at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, Calif. and is a freelance video journalist, designer and media consultant. She has written for the Los Angeles Times and produced video stories for the Long Beach Press-Telegram. Amara also produces videos for weddings, anniversaries and other special ocassions. She has also worked in PR and advertising and conducted multimedia and design workshops for professionals and various educational institutions throughout California.
Jorge Medina is a designer and copy editor for the Orange County Register. During his five years at the Register he has been trained in video production, and he has shot and edited videos for wedding’s and other special occasions. He also produces photo slideshows for birthdays, anniversaries, and more. He has spoken at collegiate and high school journalism workshops. Jorge has worked for the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, San Gabriel Vally Tribune and Pasadena Star News as a designer.
Rod Veal is a photojournalist and videographer for the Orange County Register who has made a living capturing everything from the mundane to the amazing in pictures and sounds for over 15 years as a professional. He has shot professional sports including the Chicago Bulls in the NBA playoffs as well as city political figures, protests, He has also shot nearly a three dozen weddings, quinceaneras and private parties in recent years. He uses Nikon’s state of the art D700 and D3 cameras and HD video cameras by Canon to capture a photojournalistic style that focuses on candid and beautiful moments.
